FAQs
What ages are the classes suitable for?

Yes, you will be able to find parking.
How do online courses work?
The lesson will be posted in the class portal at least one week before we meet online. That way, students have access to all of the content (my video introduction, the slideshow, maybe a podcast, video, or article, or in some cases, chapters of a book to read) before class. Students can take in all of the information at their leisure and be prepared to have a discussion and participate in activities with classmates in the online meeting.
What are the vibes?

The classes I offer work really well as stand-alone courses, or to supplement learning in the classroom or at home.
Classes are secular and antiracist and welcome learners from a variety of backgrounds and educational philosophies. Uncomfortable topics and inconvenient truths are part of learning about history, and students, regardless of belief system or opinions, are treated with respect and encouraged to think critically.
